How to rank your website on Yahoo and Bing?

I have built links for several website in my SEO career. While these links definitely help in ranking the website higher on Google, I never saw them ranking the website higher on Yahoo or Bing.

Thanks very much Aditya. Great article! It is nowhere mentioned whether backlinks affect the SEO in Yahoo and Bing. Could you please let me know about that?

Yes, Backlinks are still important in Bing & Yahoo but not that much in Google.

You should set you goal for Google search engine if here you rank increase than automatically you rank will up in Yahoo and Bing search engine.

My take on the search engines is to focus on just one. For example, you will be doing SEO methods for the intention of getting a high rank in Google’s search results. And if the rank in other search engines is not high then what can you do? If you change your methods to suit Yahoo or Bing, what happens if your ranking in Google decreases? I’m sorry if you cannot clearly understand my point. It’s like you cannot get the best of both worlds with Google and other search engines.
