Erroneous or inaccurate pages: What's going on Google?

Google claims to be cleaning up the search engine to provide better search results but are the results given for your searches any better now than before the Panda/Penguin/Hummingbird updates?

Yes, I think they are a little bit better than they were before. They keep adding more search functions and blocking out spam sites, so I think the results are better.

And, you are logged into your Google account when this happens? If so, that could be why you are getting these results as maybe they relate to something you searched recently. Try logging out of your Google account and doing the search again.

Google is suppoed to be enhancing the user experience, not confusing us with their misleading search results. Though maybe there are other reasons these results are appearing now.

On some searches, the results are so erroneous and the site I'm referred to will only have a small blurb in the side bar that covers the topic, but even that is more like an advertisement or possibly comment on the blog, rather than an actual full page article. I thought Google would have eliminated these from search results by now.

May be yes they have improved. But many people are also complaining that page of big brands are now dominating Google.
