I don't guess that someone could rank a website in 1 week , I've ranked a website in google First Page for about 40 days to be one the 2nd position in the first page

I did it in a fortnight, for about 5 or so keywords.

But... they're low traffic long-tails.

The point is, if:
(a) your targeted traffic is in 'buying mode' with their wallets out before they sit down at the computer
(b) you find keywords with little to no competition
(c) your affiliate product has a high rate of sales per lead

...you won't need that much traffic. Just dominate the SERPs for all those low-hanging fruit that no one else is trying to get.

The thing is though, you're going to need more than a few keywords on page 1 to make a sale. But you didn't ask about sales, you asked about ranks, lol. Ranking is one thing, profit is another. "Yay, look, there's my site on page 1, making no money..."

If you want your site is display first on the google search in just a one week then you have to target local market not national or international. For local search you have to place your keyword on Google map and also work on Forum, Social bookmarking, article writing and sharing, document creating and sharing etc.

Sometimes, it comes impossible for local market also but Use Google map trick- it works.

I am wondering why there are not one and not just 2 but many topics like this – about getting the best rank in Google in a week. Isn’t it preposterous to give a deadline? Anyway, the ranking in Google can be increased by doing SEO work on your site. If you don’t know the SEO methods then you probably need to learn more by roaming around this forum for the discussions about search engine optimization.
