Are you still worried about Panda algorithm?

For a long time, everyone talked about Panda update algorithm and now you never hear about it. Is this still a real concern for webmasters?

I'm not worried over Panda as that was mostly targeting content mills such as Hubpages or eHow, which had numerous low content pages.

The only people who need to be concerned with this are sites which have useless low content pages. And, most sites have cleaned up their act now.

Google search users got tired of seeing ten identical results on page one of Google for every search query. So Google responded by enacting Panda update which rewards a site that publishes the content first and down grades other sites in search results that publish the same or closely similar content.

Some people call this a duplicate penalty, when it's really just a way of reordering the search engine results so as to filter out duplicate results that could annoy users of Google search.
