    Hi spykaushik,

    Put simply on page SEO is as it suggests, it's all SEO related stuff that is directly on your website. Then we have off page SEO which is the exact opposite and is everything that effects SEO but is not on your actual website, such as backlinks.

    This topic is very popular because this is the nth time that I have come across such topic. Anyway, on-page SEO is the optimization that you can do to your web pages like the uploading of the contents and the tagging of keywords. Good contents will make your website search engine friendly while the keywords that you tagged your contents with will be a help in getting traffic. The off-page SEO is the SEO work that you do outside the website particularly the marketing work you do to promote your website in other sites.
