I've published a few pdf documents and most times they end up in Google search engines. Just wondering if the links in those pdf documents are counted for SEO purposes. If so, that might be a good way to get backlinks as pdf's are viral and spread the internet easily.

I usually encounter some of these pdf files that are indexed by google. Some of them are found through searching texts, especially if you look into an article whether its unique and while searching some pdf file are among the results. [quote]I am really not sure.
