help on my site

hi mates,

out of passion for technology i created a blog/site (self hosted) on wordpress, i post tutorials and provide unlock codes to phones and other gadgets, tricks and tweaks.

with time my traffic was up, i have average traffic of 7000/day, the site is 10 months old now with 0PR but i have few keywords on number 1 SERP also most key word on first page (3-6).

I have signed up for adsense though my earning is very very small, my concern now is that since i created the blog with no knowledge of SEO or any niche how can i now get my site to rank for high paying keywords?

sorry that may sound dumb but i dont even get what niches are, i am also concern about my PR since i may be selling the blog soon as i am getting too busy and the site is not paying me anything as i make almost nothing from adsense, few money from paypal donations.

Thanks

And, is your site profitable now? It seems like you would have more clicks on adsense with so much traffic coming to your site.

Where is your traffic coming from? If it is organic (driven by organic in bound inks etc) then it should be paying out at that volume. If it is not organic it doesn't really mean anything,

In fact, given that page rank comes from links.... I mean that's even more confusing because it means any links you have a no-follow or from trash sites. And IDK how that would bring 7000 uniques (you know to only count uniques, right?) a day.

Bottom line, to get higher page rank you needs sites with with higher page rank to link to you.

If you are getting traffic to the tune of 7,000 per day, I guess that is a big number already and I wouldn’t suggest methods that you are not doing yet because it might affect the healthy traffic of your blog. What you can do is to increase the contents of your blog and tag it with sensible keywords that are related to the blog. With the niche, that’s fine if you are not following a particular niche as long as you are getting traffic which means your contents are good enough to the eyes of the readers.
