So many webmasters were waiting forever for this update and finally it has arrive. Still, I wonder if the update will be good news or bad news for these webmasters, considering the newest algorithm updates.

One of my websites (XboxLiveFan.org) has just remained the same on PR2, but my other website, the SEO Clerks Affiliate Store (LowCostSEOSolutions.com) has just went up to PR1 after it was sitting at PR0 for a while. :D

If your website didn't update, Google must not see it yet as worthy of the next PR level. :P What PR is it on?

PR is just one of many factors to check website's authority. PR3 can be achieved easily, PR4-5 can easily be achieved with an empty site and only spam links.
DA/PA (domain authority / page authority) are the metrics that say way more about a website. Page Rank isn't useless, but it's easily manipulated. I've seen 2 months old PR7 website with 50 crappy backlinks selling sponsored posts for 20$. That wasn't even a fake PR, it was a PR achieved because of onsite manipulation and few high PR links that last for a few days and luckily PR update was when those links were still there. Links from that website were useless, but sponsored posts were sold like hotcakes because of it's famous PR7 and I believe owner of that website didn't even know how he got PR7. Selling like hotcakes, owner of that website never got a website that was above PR2 in his life again after the next update.
If I have a website with 20 quality and relevant backlinks and PR0, it will perform better than the PR7 website I am talking about. I will buy a new domain somewhere in the next days and demonstrate it after the next PR update :D

I was looking for the pagerank update. But it does not happen!.
As long as your not going down the way, your ok, don't put too much important on Page Rank.

Yeah, you wont get an increase on every update, things take time. :P As long as your not going down the way, your ok, don't put too much important on Page Rank. :P
