Has anyone ever gotten any good response/traffic/purchases from the results of college campus flyer handouts?

I think that it depends on what you are advertising. If you have something that college campus students want, then you will most likely succeed from this.

No never done it but I would have to agree with angie that it depends on what you are selling. College campuses would be great to pass out flyers if it were something that they were interested in.

I do agree with this. The result will be depending on the nature of your website. If your website is all about the campus, it will definitely get some good response.

Exactly. College students would not be interested in some sites. I can not think of one of the top of my head.

I've done it before, and honestly the results were disappointing.
Students are not really interested in marketing, business and everything as we other teenagers do. How do you think many of the teenagers find the internet and business? By searching on Google, not by college flyers. It's honestly a waste of time if you're looking to promote anything which would be business related by college campus flyers. If you're promoting something else such as personal blogs and so on, it would be OK. Otherwise, doing that is not recommended by me.

I agree with goodboy. I know that there are many college students that will not even take the time to look at a flyer. It most likely just goes straight to the trash so why waste your money?

Good point made there Ralph. If college students are not interested, you money is just going to be tossed away in a garbage can.

With the mention of college campus, the obvious prospects you will find there are the teenagers or young generation. If your business is relevant to those young people then you have a good chance of landing a sale or getting a transaction. I think distributing flyers is effective because it is still being done by real estate brokers until now. They inhabit the upscale malls with high end shoppers who can afford to buy condo and townhouses.

When I was in the college, I used to see people come around with flyers and some flyers were preserved while others were tossed into the garbage bin as soon as the giver turned his or her back,why was it so,if you want to present a flyer that college cannot relate with, then it will be a waste, there are things associated with college, students and college life.Anything outside of that would not be appreciated in that environment.So when one is thinking about college flyers, he or she must make it in consonant with college way of life.
