How do you concern yourself with a sellers recent comments?

If you seen a service you really liked the look of and it wasn't really being offered anywhere else, but the buyer had a few bad comments and reviews, but also had some good ones too. Would you still go ahead and give it a try and make up your own mind? or Would you avoid it due to the bad comments you've seen, even though there was some good comments too? I would give it a shot. If they had good reviews then they are surely doing something right, so why not try them out?

If it was just all bad reviews, then I would think twice, and not but probs, but if it was just some bad review in amongst good reviews, then I would still try the service. How do you concern yourself with a sellers recent comments?

Some people just give bad reviews for a small flaw, and so I would have to say I would try it out. If they had all bad reviews I would not buy the service.

Everyone has their own opinions about things. However if all the reviews were bad, I would not want to buy the services. if only one was a bad review and the rest were positive I would take a shot with them.

I would try someone out that had a negative review as long as many others stated positive notes. You can not just take one persons word for it. Maybe the seller was just having a bad day or something such as that.

Exactly. The person that left the review has their own opinion but it does not mean that the seller is bad.

If there are several truly glowing positive reviews or recommendations that go into detail about how the buyer was really helped by the seller's services then that might be enough to convince me to buy. At least, this is the criteria that I use when reading reviews about any type of product, not just an SEO related service.

Greetings!

It ultimately depends on the buyer, comment/rating ratios, etc.
The one main thing I would look for at first would be the cost of the service.

If the purchase was going to be relatively small, then I wouldn't really look at the comment/ratio. I'd purchase it, then make up my mind according to the service I receive. HOWEVER, if the cost of the service seems to be higher in price, then I would be more apt to thoroughly go through all of the comment/rating ratios. You don't want a good chunk of your money being thrown to the wind of chance.

If most of their buyers liked the service and only one or two disliked the service or were displeased then it could be worth trying out. Also another thing to consider is what the buyer disliked. Maybe they mention specifically a complaint with the service. If so, evaluate if that same issue would be a problem for you and then proceed.

I like to make up my own mind but I do consider what others say as well. I will read the reviews and if something does not seem right to me then I usually pass over it.

And, this is why I would prefer to do work with my own clients as I know them and if they have a problem, they come to me and talk it over. They don't get vindictive and leave feedback on a site that ruins my chances of getting more clients. If negative feedback weren't so damaging, this wouldn't be a problem, but it is.

I want to say that negative comments don't matter and in my real offline line if someone has something negative to say, I can simply ignore it. But, if the person is paying for a service and has the power to crush my online reputation, then I take them more seriously.
