A very funny thing happened, when I raised my prices on my Seocheckout services. I started getting more work and for the same gigs that had previously sold for half; sometimes more than I could handle so that I was busy ALL day with forum and blog posting gigs.
The buyers who are now purchasing my packages at the increased price are never picky and always more appreciative of my work, leaving positive feedback and nice reviews.
For anyone thinking of increasing their prices, I'd say go for it. Take time to build a reputation of high quality work. That doesn't mean you should do a bunch of $3.00 jobs just to get positive feedback as usually the type of buyer you will attract doing that will be super picky and won't bother leaving good feedback anyway. Just charge a little more and do the very best job you can do every time you complete a gig.
Don't under charge; just over deliver.
Don't think you have to charge $3.00 for something that is worth $15.00 or $30 for a $30 service. Over time, your buyers will come to expect the highest quality service from you and will return to order more. Then you won't have to depend on random buyers to purchase your packages. When that happens, you can gradually increase your prices on packages and you will still get gigs.
