We all know that in order to survive at freelancing, you need to have good clients. Maybe you only have a few clients, but are looking to get some more. So how can you successfully get new clients. Here are a few tips that might just work for you.
First off you need to talk to people about your business so they know that you are out there. A good rule of thumb to follow is talk to 3 new people a day about your freelance business. You might be thinking that would be hard. But in reality, look at how many people you see a day. At the gas station, grocery store, library, deli, coffee shop, bus station. Just commit to finding 3 people a day and you will more than likely see your business grow.
Make your offer attractive. There are many out there doing the same thing as you. So you need to make your offer stand out. How can you do this? Well you could say if you pay me for 4 articles, your 5th one is free. Or give them 10% off their first order. Making the deal attractive will really make your business thrive.
And finally, connect on social networks. Let others know that you are indeed a freelancer. Post as your status that you are looking for new clients. Make your content engaging and others will see that you are the freelancer for them.

Thank you.
These ideas will really help me get more freelance clients. As freelancers we need to treat our services as a real business, that includes marketing and brand building, not just good quality and customer service.

Thank you for your helpful suggestions. I do have an issue though, as I only have business associates online, and none on a person to person basis. I don't want to use my FB account, as I'm very private about my online work. I suppose I could make a FB account just for this purpose, but then it would take forever to build up clients.
