Advertising your RSS feed

Is it possible to take the RSS feed of your Seocheckout services and add it to an RSS feed site online? I know this is possible with a regular site or blog that has an RSS feed. However, would they let you add your Seocheckout RSS?

Feedcat is a pretty good RSS site that has built in tracking. Just enter your URL for the RSS feed and share your link anywhere.

I read somewhere that RSS feeds aren't good for your search engine ranking as they can cause duplicate content issues as your site is being sampled onto another site. The content on the other site could end up ranking better than yours.
