Freelancing While taking care of a kid

Is there anyone among here who are also taking care of their kids on their own while freelancing?
I'm really finding it hard nowadays that my kid now can walk and run. What are your tips?

I have been working at home as a freelance writer for almost 11 years, while actively being a mom. You just have to organize your time well and work when your child is not active (such as during naps or after they go to sleep at night).

Once your child is school aged, they will be attending school for some part of the day. That's when you should be doing your work. Just cut out all distractions from your life when you actually have time to work. Put in 100% of your effort in the limited time you have available to work. Even if you only have one spare hour per day in which to work, you can get more work done (if you are fully committed to working) than someone else who has three hours but spends that time half working and half socializing on Facebook.

Work during naps, and then also work before they get up In the mornings. Make it a point to get up an hour or so before they do to get stuff done.

It depends on the age of the children and their personalities as well. If the children are of school age and disciplined then I guess I can manage that kind of situation. There are unruly children who would create a racket for no reason at all. That situation would surely ruin my disposition that I couldn't work. So it's really up to the parents since caring for kids is on a case to case basis.

I taking care of my cuties while freelancing and I must say it not an easy combination especially if they're quite small.I try to work when they nap and work around them when they're awake.Try to feed to be okay then leave them to play while I concentrate on my work but don't forget to look out and see what they're up to while working away. You just have to work around what works for you.
