How long have you been a Freelancer?

So how many week, months or years have you been a freelancer earning cash working online? For me, I started my first website about 3 years ago, so that's when I got into webmaster like things. I started working for others doing jobs, etc.. and becoming a freelancer was a little after that. How long have you been a Freelancer? What about you?

I started earning money online on a freelance basis around 5 years ago, I was creating some basic websites and different related things before this but never actually used anything I did to make money.

Since then it has went from being just nice getting a little extra money here or there to being all of my income and what I use to support myself.

Regards,
Karoshio

I just started some months back precisely the month of April and I have been having fun freelancing though it can be hectic some days but it better than being jobless.

Nice one How long have you been a Freelancer? I haven't yet reached a stage where I could support myself on the cash im earning online alone, but I am earning a lot more than what I used too and my affiliate earnings on here have really improved in the last while. 5-7 years maybe? I never really earned a consistent income until I joined here though. I tried all kinds of other marketplaces.

I started my freelance journey about ten years ago, just after my daughter was born. She was the main reason I wanted to work from home.

For at least three years now. I have enjoyed each and every minute of it.

I earned first few dollars about 6 years ago with Adsense. I quit my job 2 years ago to focus on marketing + SEO only.

Interesting. Are you able to earn a full time income from this if you do not mind me asking?

I published my first article in 2001. It was published on a newspaper. I started online writing in 2007. Until then I had already published dozens of print articles. I did not join any publication houses, but continue to submit article as a freelance writer. I began writing online regularly since 2010. You can say I have been a freelancer for 17 years (because my first article was published 17 years ago). However, I think my freelance writing career actually began in 2010. Before that I was a hobbyist writer.

I think it's more than 2 years now that I've been working on the side to earn money from writing sites. Obviously I am enjoying this endeavor even if the earnings is not substantial. In fairness to my freelancing, I can devote just a little time like an hour or 2 in a day because of my full time office job. But the earnings will naturally grow when I can put in more time to my freelancing.

I have been writing for almost two years but not for being paid. I am only four months old when I started earning from my articles because that is how long I have been writing for clients. I still intend to continue writing and I am not thinking of stopping any time soon.
