Worst forum software?

Do you have an opinion on which forum software is the worst to use? Would you say that SMF is the worst?

If you are new to forum ownership, then you are likely to do better with SMF or MyBB than with phpBB. If you have money, then you should buy Xenforo as it's very easy to use for the newcomers to forums.

There's nothing wrong with SMF, you just might want to try a more professional forum software, especially if you are just starting out as a new forum owner. The more you pay for a forum software, the more user friendly that software will be.

MyBB is a very decent forum software. I really like the look of the MyBB forum. Super easy to use this software. You might have to pay someone to install mods for you, but that shouldn't be too much of a hindrance.

SMF forums look SO bad! I don't know why anyone would bother using that forum software, except for the fact that it's free to use. Then again, could you not just as well use phpbb or MyBB? Any free forum software looks better than SMF.

You seem very dead set against SMF. Have you even used SMF before? I like the SMF software, because not only is it free but really easy to use. And, nice looking sites. Lots easier to upgrade and install mods (or packages as they are called with SMF) than with MyBB
