Nowadays, are the blog commenting links useless for SEO? I have seen many saying that.

Do you mean to say that you have to establish your presence first before your comment on a blog can be noticed? What if your comment has a lot of substance and new information that readers will be attracted? I guess the blog comment will always depend on the substance and not on your persona in the blog. Even if you are a first time visitor will not matter as long as the comment is very interesting to the readers.

We must continue commenting, but mostly NATURALLY.
We must find quality blogs from the same environment, dofollow blogs and if they have few external links ..... victory.
Be careful with keywords - the best rule is to use 50% of links with keywords and 50% like domain (http:// .......)

It depends on some factors. It can be or it can be not.

If the blog comment comes from the low OBL high PR site with no-anchor backlink, it will have value for your site.
Also the comment should come from similar niche site as is yours.

No blog commenting isn't useless if you are commenting on niche relevant blogs but if you are sending 10k blog comments on spammed blogs using automated method, this won't only be useless but actually will hurt your site ranking.

Depends on the quality of the comments and how they are generated.
Manually made comments will have a better impact than automated software that generate comments.
It also depends on the type of blogs and the PR level of the blog that are commented on.

Blog comments are not dead. All that matters is how you use them. Even automation on high volume can be done to alot of buffer sites with good results.

I don't know if it's ok to promote my gig but the blog commenting service (check it out on my gig list) i provide is quite good and helped a lot of people to get traffic, backlinks and also ranking.

I don’t think a comment on a blog is useless unless you are commenting on an obscure blog. Your comment can be seen by the other readers of the blog and if your comment is interesting to them then you have the opportunity of getting traffic from them. However, what traffic will you get if you have left a comment on a blog that has only 5 or 10 readers? You need to be on a popular blog that has thousands of active readers.
