If you are a forum owner, is it necessary to visit your forum every day?

I wouldn't say that I hang out on my forum all day but I do have the tab open whilst I am working on other things on the PC and I do periodically click and refresh to show myself and post as well to show that I am an active owner and I feel like members like seeing that, they like to know that if they need help around the forum or if they wish to contact you they have the ability to do so and you will get back to them and that is always good practice when wanting a successful forum. I believe that if you own a forum it is always best to visit on a daily basis, it shows initiative and it shows that you are eager to see your forum thrive. I enjoy going on forums that I frequent daily and seeing that owners of the forum have been active, it shows that they really are passionate about their forum and that they really are interested in keeping it active.
