People who debate endlessly on forums

I don't like forums where people are endlessly debating every little thing and can't seem to come to any agreement. Sometimes, I think they just like to argue and have no real intention of coming up with usable answers.

There will always be argumentative people, who like to argue for no reason other than to hear themselves talk. These people are not really interested in contributing solutions but would prefer to stir things up. Maybe they just do this to stay entertained or it's another form of trolling.

Some people just like to argue no matter what. I would say that every forum will have that from time to time.

Exactly. Just as in real life. There are people that can not keep their mouths shut for any reason.

In any forum whether debating or not, there is a thing called substance. It's okay with me if the kind of debate is friendly and sensible. But a debate that is going in circles, that has no substance anymore and would be monotonous. The mod should message the debaters to stop the senseless tirade.

I think it benefits the forum where the discussion is endless. I am against hate speech, however, healthy discussion is always welcome. Having a never-ending debate will generate a lot of contents and contents are the key to the success of the forum. The most important thing is to have a substance. The debate must be on some topics that add value to your forum.
