    What if you discovered your new niche forum was not so unique?

    Let's say you had a very good idea for a unique niche forum and started the forum quickly. But over time found other niche forums with almost identical themes. Would that discourage you from continuing with your forum? What would you do then?

    You might consider expanding your original concept to get more members from the larger niche. For instance, if your forum is about a specific TV show, you could add subforums to cover the larger niche such as the TV show genre.
