I'm from the old school of computing and have only used Ethernet wired internet so far. However, I want to go outside to work sometimes or move from room to room with my laptop without having to plug up to an Ethernet cord. Tell me how to set up my laptop or computer for wireless internet so that I can work on a secure connection.

If you have interent connection with broad band with high speed internet, you can connect with seveal computers at a time with one wifi router. You have to set up WI-FI router in most convenient places where singnal most powerful to catch up from each room. And set Wi-Fi with password and without password to connect each time. And another way you can use Wi-Fi connection by your Laptop existing Wi-FI device without purchasing extra device. You can convert your laptop Wi-FI device as router by using some free Wi-Fi hotspot software.
