Are there any real differences between the job of a coder and programmer? Obviously, both work with languages. But is there a specific reason for the various names or do both coder and programmer do the same job? And, what about a software developer? They design software, so that's a type of programmer, a sub-category. The software developer uses their knowledge of language for a specific output, a specific end-goal. Any other specific applications for coding/programming languages; any specific output, other than software that is considered the end-product?

For example, coder could be person who write codes for one or all files needed for some project and programmer is person who putting it all together into work, testing it and telling the coder if there is more to be coded or to make some changes.
In many cases one person do all this things, programming and coding because it's easier to communicate with your own mind and work on your own idea to achieve your target. But when it comes to large projects it is almost impossible to do it all by one person. For example think about developing software like Windows! In this case, programmer can't do it by him self, but telling coders which part of software to code, while he (programmer) putting all this parts together into one, to get final working solution. So it means, on large projects there is big difference between them... Interesting subject and not so easy to answer, because depend how we looking at it and also depend if we talking about making software, web application or phone application. All are very similar, but if we going into small details, all can be little or very different. Short way said programmers are creating the logic, coders are translating that logic into actual code.
