You can change your status how many times you want. However, if your status includes links I would recommend to change your status only once or perhaps twice per week as this could potentially be marked as spam, and if that happens, you will most likely get infractions for spamming.
With that being said, as you can see on the screenshot below there is an option to email your status to your followers.
This is exactly what it sounds like. Your seocheckout followers will receive an email from seocheckout with information about your new status. By having hundreds of followers this can be a fantastic way to gain easy and free exposure. About to offer discounts? Launching a new service? Having a 2 for 1 sale? It's entirely up to you!
seocheckout provides amazing tools. Make sure to use them!

And, statuses don't have to just be about sales and business.
I've actually seen a few pretty cool statuses that were more personal, like a member wishing everyone a good morning or saying something nice about their day.
Another time, I saw this one status saying something like, "Hey guys, sorry I've been sick for awhile but I'm back to work now!" And, I thought that was a nice way to let buyers know why he's been offline or late on orders. Real life situations such as illness happen and you have to keep people updated. I noticed that whenever I changed my status, it resulted in a few pretty big sales from previous buyers. So it's always a good thing to update at least periodically, usually with some good news, such as a discount or letting people know about a new service you have going on.
